SHAH ALAM, SELANGOR, 30 AUGUST 2026 – Returning for its fifth annual edition, MotorManiac Festival 2026 promises its most ambitious celebration yet. Combining automotive and street lifestyle culture, visitors can expect high-performance car showcase and competitions, the biggest concert line-up on a rooftop, Breakdance B-Boy performances, freestyler performances, lucky draws, mini die-cast expo, exclusive merchandise and new products into one unforgettable weekend.
Taking place from Saturday, 5 September to Sunday, 6 September at Rooftop, Level 7, MyTOWN Kuala Lumpur, the two-day festival is expected to attract 40,000 automotive enthusiasts from all over the world. Before the festival officially opens, MotorManiac hosted an exclusive Press Conference on 30 August 2026 at its HQ in Shah Alam, unveiling several major initiatives that reinforce the brand's vision of becoming Malaysia's automotive lifestyle ecosystem.

Organised by Bateriku – Malaysia’s number 1 Connected Roadside Assistance Provider, the festival continues to strengthen its position as one of Malaysia's automotive lifestyle events through collaborations with Astra Batteries as the Title Sponsor, with Co-Sponsor from Petronas Syntium, Lazada as Official Ticketing Partner, and with the support from Malaysia’s Ministry of Tourism, Art & Culture (MOTAC).

Adding even more firepower to the festival, Red bull, MyTOWN Shopping Centre, Retrohavoc, Choii Motorsports, Nim 199 Garage, Super Sunday, Klutchkicked, Tenuk Film, Abstrax, Flow SI, Dasuki Bodykit, PHM, Shogun Blitz, Keep it Street, Fossil, Android King, Blackened and GGR are among the brands participating as Main Partners and Supporters. In addition, F&N joins as the official beverage provider throughout the event.

Taking the festival experience to the next level, DEF JAM Southeast Asia joins as the Official Stage Partner bringing an electrifying music festival vibe with an open-air live concert featuring Joe Flizzow, SonaOne, ALYPH, Ismail Izzani, Killa Driz, Lil J, Yonnyboii, AbangSapau and DJ CZA. To commemorate this year’s festival, the official MotorManiac Festival 2026 merchandise collection this year will feature an exclusive collaboration with DEF JAM Southeast Asia, comprising 12 unique SKUs.

Jom Battle returns as the Official Breakdance B-Boy Partner lead by Sora, winner of multiple international B-Boy competitions across Asia and Europe. To spice things further, this year’s lineup will also feature Red bull’s street-football freestyler, Zeem Ahmad. The Asia Panna Champion is set to perform alongside Sora and B-Boy's from all around the world to showcase the fusion of Malaysia’s vibrant street and automotive culture.
MotorManiac Festival 2026 is set to unleash the MotorManiac Drift Academy and ASTRA drift team bringing them together with some of the biggest names in the drifting scene, including Rome Charpentier, an American professional drift driver competing in the Formula Drift Pro Championship, Vernon Zwaneveld, the Dutch professional drifting figure and Indonesia’s Drift king – Dika Champion and his compatriot Alvito Hardianto.
The MotorManiac Drift Academy is a founding member of the World Drift School Alliance (WDSA), aiming to develop Malaysia’s next generation of drifting talent through structured training, international collaboration, student exchange programmes and pathways to professional competition.
WDSA is a collaboration between Malaysia, Indonesia, the US, and the Netherlands. Sanctioned by international drifting personnel and FIA-certified judges, the academy provides a professional pathway for students to compete at national and international levels, including Japan and the US.

The international participation continues through collaborations with renowned automotive media and content creators, including CarCulth (Thailand), Smokey Nicole (Australia), Tatsu Miyagawa and Clay Wong (Japan) and Final Drive (Brunei) reinforcing the festival's growing reputation beyond Malaysia.
Meanwhile, diecast collectors can also look forward to one of the best Mini Diecast Expo, featuring rare and exclusive collectibles. To keep the vibe and energy flowing throughout the 2-day festival, AZJ Printing and Sarman Printing will be supporting the event as Official Printing Partners delivering street style aesthetics for the MotorManiac Festival 2026.
Now in its fifth edition since its debut in 2019, MotorManiac continues to grow beyond just a festival. In line with today’s digital-first lifestyle, MotorManiac is set to launch the MotorManiac Mobile app – a one-stop automotive digital platform connecting enthusiasts, brands and international partners through event ticketing, merchandise, performance parts, an automotive marketplace and community forums. The app is designed to become the digital home for Malaysia's automotive enthusiasts as major brands like DeWalt, Works Engineering and several performance parts are already onboard.

Meanwhile, Bateriku will preview its new product line-up: ASTRA-X, a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) performance battery – a lightweight, race and drift-ready battery built for the demands of competitive motorsports.
