Kia Sales Malaysia has named Cycle & Carriage Malaysia (C&C) as its official authorised distributor for Kia vehicles in Malaysia. The appointment was formalised during a ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, attended by Kia Sales Malaysia CEO Hyung Ho Kim and Cycle & Carriage Malaysia CEO Adrian Short.

Cycle & Carriage is a long-established automotive group with over 125 years of experience in Southeast Asia, representing a wide range of vehicle brands. With Kia now added to its lineup, the collaboration is expected to strengthen the brand’s reach by tapping into C&C’s established dealership network and aftersales capabilities in Malaysia.

The partnership is also a continuation of Kia’s existing relationship with Cycle & Carriage, which already serves as the sole Kia distributor in Singapore, making the expansion into Malaysia a logical step.

Earlier in December 2025, Bermaz Auto confirmed it would end its role as Kia’s distributor in Malaysia after Kia decided to operate directly in the country as its principal. Since January 2026, Kia Sales Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., led by CEO Hyung Ho Kim and General Manager Emily Lek, has been overseeing the brand’s operations locally.
