Jetour T1 packed with modern features
The Jetour T1 offers an impressive list of equipment for an SUV priced below RM130,000. Even the entry-level 1.5L TGDi 2WD variant comes equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, synthetic leather seats, a powered driver's seat, automatic climate control, and a 12.8-inch infotainment display, features that have become increasingly common among Chinese automotive brands.

For buyers seeking stronger performance, the 2.0L AWD variant is available from RM146,800. Its turbocharged engine delivers 241hp and 375Nm of torque, while the all-wheel-drive system is complemented by multiple terrain modes including Snow, Mud, Sand, Rock, and Crawl.
Besides the more powerful drivetrain, the 2.0L variant also receives several premium upgrades. These include a larger 15.6-inch infotainment display, a Sony premium audio system, memory function for the front seats, and a powered leg rest for the front passenger.
Who will rivals the Jetour T1 Malaysia?
The RM130,000 to RM150,000 SUV segment is highly competitive. Besides the Jetour T1, buyers can also consider models such as the Honda HR-V, Toyota Corolla Cross, Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tucson, and Mazda CX-5, all of which sit within a similar price range.
For those interested in making the switch to an electric vehicle, alternatives such as the Proton eMas 7, BYD Atto 3, and Leapmotor C10 are also worth considering, with some even priced lower than the Jetour T1.
