iCaur V23 Malaysia specifications

Similar to the iCaur V03, the iCaur V23 uses a boxy design akin to the FJ Cruiser, Defender, and Rivian. The body sits tall with chunky wheel arches and circular lights that give it a rugged, futuristic off-road look. The tailgate opens sideways, which helps when accessing cargo in tight outdoor spaces.

Driving range and performance

The V23 comes in two setups. The 2WD variant uses a rear motor that produces 134 hp and 180 Nm. It does 0–100 km/h in 11 seconds and reaches a top speed of 140 km/h. With a 59.93 kWh LFP battery, this variant offers up to 360 km on a full charge (NEDC).

AC charging power tops out at 6.6 kW for both. For DC charging, the AWD variant accepts up to 104 kW, while the RWD variant supports a slower 85 kW. V2L is available with up to 3.3 kWh output using the supplied adapter.

Safety and cabin features

Both variants look almost identical. The simplest way to tell them apart is the wheel size: the 2WD uses 19” wheels, while the iWD gets 21” wheels.

Inside, both share the same cabin layout. A 15.4” touchscreen manages major vehicle functions. The square air-conditioning vents match the exterior theme. Cargo space goes up to 1,366 litres when you lift the floor panel, and there is a multi-level storage setup to help arrange items.

Type of 12V battery used in the iCaur V23

Accessing the 12V battery of the iCaur V23 is not easy. The front bonnet is not accessible. Upon checking, brand representatives confirmed that lifting the bonnet requires two people because it has no hinges attaching it to the body.

So how do you jumpstart it?

The car provides an auxiliary terminal under the steering column for jumper cables. We also confirmed the battery type from engine bay photos taken earlier.
